Different Generations and Connecting

Most people do not recognize that each generation has its own “generational culture”.

People tend to want to connect with people who make them feel comfortable.  So it if you want to connect with a culturally-different person, the key is understanding their generation.

If you do not understand their generational ways, they will likely see you as someone who wants to do it “your way” and has very little interest in their generation and generational preferences. Pretty hard to connect and build a relationship on that basis.

Their “generational culture” is their motivations, values, beliefs, expectations, and other “Do’s” and “Don’ts” of their generation. I call it their “generational comfort zone”.

They prefer to engage and build a relationship with someone who they feel comfortable being with.

The inter-generational training I provide is designed to make you as successful as you can be connecting with someone from a different generation. They will feel comfortable with you since you can relate to them … and vice versa.

For a complimentary discussion on how my customized training can help you become significantly more successful connecting with people from different generation, please go to the Contact Bill tab of this website or call me at 905-599-6365.

I’ll do my best to respond to you before the end of the business day.

Thank you,

Bill
