Successfully Connecting with Different Cultures


Some people find connecting with individuals from different cultures challenging. 

Bill’s commitment is to provide the highest level of intercultural understanding, insights, and information to clients.  The training value we provide is significantly enhanced by providing complimentary post-presentation support.

The key to being as successful as possible connecting with someone from a different culture is to understand the important areas of their culture. It is also important to know how to reasonably adapt to what the other individual thinks is culturally appropriate.

Whatever the cultural background of someone, they probably really only understand their own culture. They have not had cultural sensitivity training about the “Do’s” and “Don’ts” of being “culturally appropriate” with someone from a specific culture.

Unfortunately, they are trying to connect with someone from a different culture but doing so virtually “cross-culturally blind”. 

I will work with you so that you learn about key areas of a culturally-different individuals such as their cultural values, beliefs, thinking, interpretations, expectations, behaviors, and the “Do’s” and “Don’ts” of their culture.
