Successfully Managing Different Cultures

The increasing mosaic of diversity at work has significantly changed the landscape of the workplace. Cross-cultural management skills have now become important.

Since many managers have not had cross-cultural management training, they find that managing employees from different cultures can be a significant challenge.

Bill’s commitment is to provide the highest level of intercultural understanding, insights, and information to clients.  The training value we provide is significantly enhanced by providing complimentary post-presentation support.

To manage someone, you need to understand their cultural background.  Otherwise you are trying to manage them virtually “culturally-blind”.

Please keep in mind that employees from different cultures have their own set of unique values, beliefs, and expectations of what is a “good manager”. When they see that you as a manager understand their culture and their “cultural comfort zone”, they will tend to respect you more as a manager.

Our training can include how to build and manage a multicultural team of employees.

Complimentary Post-Presentation Support

We provide our clients three types of complimentary post-presentation support to make sure they achieve the highest possible ROI from their cross cultural training investment from us – Implementation Coaching; Monthly Cultural Events Report; and Cultural Profiles.

For a complimentary discussion on how I might assist you, please go to the Contact Bill tab of this website; or send me an e-mail at bill@crossculturalconnecting.com; or call me at 905-599-6365 (if unavailable, please leave a voice mail message).

I’ll do my best to respond to you before the end of the business day.

Thank you,

Bill
